Schedule update: We are planning for December 2026 at Westview High School in Avondale. The venue, performance dates, dress rehearsals, and dancer call times are awaiting final confirmation.

Start here, families

Find your class.
Find your show.

Search the class name, day, or teacher listed in your Parent Portal. Planning assignments were updated October 15; they may change before the final announcement.

Class times below are weekly studio times.

More than one class? Search each one. Company and team schedules without a listed class time need confirmation from your director. Can’t find a class? We’ll help you check.

A calm, happy recital week

Ready for the spotlight.

A few simple steps make a big difference. We’ll add the final rehearsal schedule, check-in map, and pickup instructions here as they are confirmed.

01 /

Prepare your dancer

Check your class’s Christmas outfit, shoes, hair, and practice music in the DSP Parent Portal. Simple holiday pieces come together into something special on stage.

  • Try the full outfit on before recital week.
  • Label shoes and every item with your dancer’s full name.
  • Practice with the class music at home.

Attend dress rehearsal

Dress rehearsal is the chance to learn the stage, practice transitions, and feel confident before the audience arrives. Plan to attend in the complete performance look.

  • Rehearsal is separate from the performance.
  • Watch for your show’s rehearsal and arrival times.
  • Tell us about quick changes or support needs in advance.

2026 rehearsal schedule: coming soon.

03 /

Enjoy show day

Arrive at your dancer’s call time, check in with the recital team, and let us guide you. Audience seating and dancer check-in follow separate instructions.

  • Feed your dancer before arriving and bring labeled water.
  • Pack only the items needed for their performance.
  • Follow the assigned release and authorized pickup process.

The heart of Live to Give

Celebrate. Connect. Give.

Our Christmas recital brings studio families together through dance and a spirit of generosity. Details about this year’s giving initiative, volunteer opportunities, and any community activities will be shared once they are confirmed.

Good questions. Clear answers.

A little help
for the whole family.

These planning notes follow our recital framework. Final 2026 instructions will be shared before recital week.

Which show is my dancer in?
Use the class finder above and match the class name, day, time, and teacher to the DSP Parent Portal. Check every class your dancer takes. The current four-show assignments are provisional until the studio confirms the final lineup.
Where and when is the recital?
We are planning for December 2026 at Westview High School in Avondale. Final performance dates, venue confirmation, dress rehearsal times, and dancer call times will be posted together. Please wait for the final schedule before making time-sensitive plans.
What should my dancer wear?
Check your class’s outfit and shoe requirements in the DSP Parent Portal. Christmas recital looks generally use coordinated holiday clothing with the appropriate dancewear and shoes. Confirm the full look with your teacher before purchasing. Hair, makeup, and accessory instructions will be shared with the class.
Where do I find music and practice materials?
In the DSP app, look under More → Shared Files → Class Music for the class music, and More → Costumes for outfit information. Menu labels may vary by device. Your teacher can point you to any additional practice videos or updated class instructions.
What is the difference between rehearsal, call time, and show time?
Dress rehearsal is the practice run on stage in the complete performance look. Dancer call time is the time to arrive and check in before a performance. Show time is when the audience performance begins. Each will be listed separately in the final 2026 schedule.
Can I stay backstage with my young dancer?
Our youngest age groups may have different supervision and release arrangements. Itty Bitty and Tiny Tot families should wait for their specific 2026 instructions about participating parents, backstage access, and pickup. Tell the studio if your dancer has toileting, allergy, sensory, or other support needs so we can plan together.
Can my dancer leave after their routine?
Release depends on the dancer’s age group, finale participation, and any additional classes in that show. Please follow the studio’s final 2026 release instructions and wait for the recital team to return dancers to the authorized pickup area. Do not collect a dancer directly from the stage or side-stage area.
What if my dancer is in more than one class or show?
Check each class separately. Some dancers will appear in more than one color show. Let the recital team know about close costume changes, and keep all required outfits and shoes together and clearly labeled. The studio will confirm any special quick-change or multi-show instructions.
What should we pack?
Bring the required performance outfits, dance shoes, necessary hair and makeup items, and labeled water. Label everything with your dancer’s full name and keep the bag easy to manage. Feed your dancer before arriving. Final backstage food, electronics, and packing rules will be included in the 2026 family instructions.
How will tickets, photos, and video work?
Ticket prices, sale dates, admission policies, and the 2026 purchase link are still being finalized. Photography and video arrangements will also be announced. Please avoid flash, keep aisles clear, and follow the venue and recital team’s audience instructions.
How can we volunteer or take part in the giving initiative?
We’ll share the confirmed giving initiative and current volunteer opportunities here and through studio communications. Roles, signup links, community activities, and any volunteer benefits are still being finalized for 2026.

We’re in this together.
