Why choose The Studance Lab?
The Studance Lab combines structured training with a welcoming, inclusive culture. Our programs are designed to help dancers build technique, confidence, creativity, teamwork, and a lasting love of movement—from their first class through advanced pre-professional training.
Programs begin with Parent & Me for ages 18 months–3 years. Tiny Tots is designed for ages 3–4 (students must be potty trained), Minis for ages 4–5, and Youngstars for ages 5–7. Level 1 generally serves ages 8–13; Levels 2–3 require placement or evaluation. Teen programming is intended for high-school-aged dancers. Placement may vary based on readiness and experience.
Preschool classes are generally 45 minutes. Other class lengths vary by age, style, level, and training program. Check the current 2026–2027 class schedule or contact the front desk for the most current availability.

Required attire and footwear vary by class and program. Please use the current Dress Code page or Dress Code Guide. Proper dancewear helps instructors see alignment and allows dancers to move safely.
An adult participates with the dancer in Parent & Me. For other classes, follow the supervision and pickup instructions provided for your dancer’s age and program, and remain reachable while your dancer is in class. Children must be picked up promptly. During Friday Open Session, a parent or guardian must remain on site for participants age 12 and younger.
Call the front desk at (623) 932-1505 as soon as possible. Late arrival can affect warm-up and safe participation, and dancers must be picked up promptly because instructors and staff may have other duties immediately after class.
Tuition is based on the 42-week season and is paid in monthly installments. A valid card must remain on file and autopay runs on the first of each month. Tuition is not prorated for short months, holidays, absences, closures, or travel. Accounts unpaid after the 10th may incur a $20 late fee, and dancers may be unable to return after the 15th until the balance is resolved. Current tuition depends on the dancer’s program and weekly training plan; confirm the total during enrollment or with the front desk. Single-class drop-ins are $25 when the class is eligible and space is available.
Yes. Families using ESA or ClassWallet should follow the current ESA Payment Guide. A valid card is still required on file, and families remain responsible for balances not covered or delayed by the program.
Seasonal performance opportunities may include the Live to Give holiday performance, the June recital, community appearances, and—depending on the dancer’s pathway—competitions or conventions. Participation requirements, dates, rehearsals, and fees are announced for each season.
Costume charges and recital requirements can change by season and program. The former October 1 and $30 costume language is retired. Please rely on the current season’s written information in the Parent Resource Center or confirm details with the front desk before making plans.
The current pathway progresses from the Recreational Program to the Performance Team and then The Company for advanced pre-professional training. Team placement is audition- or evaluation-based and requires an increased dancer and family commitment. Visit the Teams and Auditions page for current opportunities.
Contact the front desk about any available make-up option for the dancer’s age and level. Make-ups depend on class availability and current studio policy; they are not guaranteed. Tuition is not credited or refunded for missed classes, and payments are not transferable.
The studio operates on a 42-week season with monthly billing from July through June. Enrollment continues through the season unless a completed withdrawal form is received by the 15th of the month before the requested withdrawal month. Verbal notice, email, or non-attendance alone does not complete withdrawal.
The Studance Lab was founded by Bonita Saldaña and is operated by Bonita and Gabriel Saldaña. The studio is built around high-quality instruction, clear progression, and an environment where dancers and families feel supported.
