Policies & Procedures

Welcome to The Studance Lab. Our Policies & Procedures are in place to ensure a consistent, safe, and inspiring environment for every dancer and family. Please review the following information carefully. If you’d like to view this in greater detail, visit our Policy Page.

Financial Policy

We require a valid credit or debit card on file. Tuition is charged automatically on the 1st of each month. Late fees apply if not paid by the 10th, and dancers may not return to class if tuition is unpaid after the 15th. Tuition is based on a 42-week class schedule and is not prorated. Students are auto-enrolled annually unless a withdrawal form is submitted.

Withdrawal Policy

To withdraw from a class and stop future charges, submit a withdrawal form before the 15th of the month. If submitted after the 15th, the following month’s tuition will be charged and retained.

Attendance & Make-Up Classes

Regular attendance builds discipline, skill, and confidence. One make-up class per registered class per month is permitted, scheduled through the front desk and used within the same month. No credits are issued for missed classes.

Accident, Illness, and Injury

The Studance Lab is not responsible for injuries or illnesses sustained during class or events.

Safe Studio Policy

We prioritize the well-being of our entire studio family. If a dancer shows symptoms of illness, they should stay home. Any concerns should be addressed via email prior to attending class.

Pick-Up, Drop-Off, and Late Policy

Dancers under 7 must be escorted inside. All students must be dropped off and picked up promptly. Late pickups are charged $15 per 10 minutes.

Class Cancellations

We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule classes based on registration needs.

Lost and Found

We are not responsible for lost or stolen items. Items left behind are donated monthly. Label all belongings clearly.

Recital & Performances

We host a Winter and Summer recital annually. If an in-person recital is not possible, an alternative performance video will be produced and shared with families.

Social Media Policy

  • All posts must respect privacy, copyright, and community values.
  • Studio matters must not be discussed publicly online.
  • Images of other dancers may not be shared without written consent.
  • Content that is discriminatory, offensive, or misrepresentative is not tolerated.

Dress Code

Students must follow dress code guidelines specific to their class. Uniform promotes discipline, unity, and safety. Students not in dress code will not be permitted to participate. View full dress code in the parent handbook.

Important Dates

Key studio dates and events are posted on our Studio Calendar. Notify us early if you anticipate missing any major events.
