Financial
The Studance LAB does require that you keep a current credit card on file with us.
Auto Payment charged to the credit card on file by Studance LAB on the 1st of each month. Tuition can be paid via cash or check prior to the 1st of the month to avoid the automatic withdrawal of the card on file. Tuition is due on the 1st of each month and past due if not paid by the 10th. We will send one reminder and if payment is not received prior to the 10th of the month a $20.00 late fee will be assessed to your account and the credit card we have on file will be billed. Any student with tuition not paid by the end of the month may not be allowed to return to class until all past due fees are paid. Cash and checks are also acceptable forms of payment but there will be a $25.00 insufficient fund fee for any returns.

Withdrawal

To withdraw from any class, you must notify The Studance Lab Dance by submitting a Withdrawal Form. If a Withdrawal Form is not received by the 15th of the month we will assume the student is still part of the class and will be charged for that class. If you withdraw from a recital class please be aware that all recital fees are NON-REFUNDABLE and will be forfeited.

Communication

Please provide us with an email address that you check regularly as we communicate via email regarding important studio matters. If your home address, phone number, or email address changes throughout the dance year, please inform us immediately so we may update our files. The studio posts important signs throughout the year on our notice boards and the front door about studio matters. It is the responsibility of all parents to check these notices regularly. The studio has an active Facebook and Instagram page. We encourage you to “Like” The Studance LAB pages to stay up to date with current studio events, including behind-the-scenes videos, dance videos, class photos and more. It is a positive environment for students and parents to interact with The Studance LAB staff, and is used to encourage positive interactions and motivation for dancers. www.Facebook.com/TheStudanceLAB

Attendance Attending classes on a regular basis is important in any learning experience. The consistency and repetition of training is necessary for proper technique to be learned. If a child misses a class and monthly tuition has been paid, the dancer is entitled to one make-up class for each class missed. A make-up class is any other class that we offer for their age and dance level. Make up classes are your responsibility. Make up classes must be made up within the same month of the absence. If you elect not to make-up the missed class, it will not be credited to your next month’s tuition. There are no transfers, refunds, or credits. Our teachers highly recommend that dancers take advantage of the make-up classes to help them from falling behind in their dance training.

The Studance LAB and its staff are released from any responsibility for any accident or injury incurred during class, rehearsals or performances.
